Calm after the Storm

The Christmas  rush has come and gone and snow from the holiday storm we received on Christmas morning is slowing melting more each day under the strong California sun. Life has slowed down here once again, in fact things are a little bit too slow. Restaurants have closed and more and more people are joining in the ever constant job search.

Although these blue bird riding days are amazing, it feels little too much like spring in January and I'm seriously itching to ride some fresh powder again. I had a taste and now I can't get that sweet ambrosia off my mind. Snow is the lubricant that keeps these ski communities smoothly ticking along and without that main ingredient rust starts to build up and thing gradually start to slow.

And with the current economic situation we are in serious need of another big dumping to bring back life once again to the people living the dream in ski land.
